Tax time is Tax-Aide time. Low- and moderate-income taxpayers of all ages may once again receive free help with their federal and state tax returns from volunteers at 13 sites throughout Lane County. AARP’s Tax-Aide program, which last year helped Lane County residents complete more than 6,600 tax returns, has offered the free service locally for many years.
